From the very beginning, Imelda’s vision was clear: “give me some colour!” As a professional designer, I embraced this challenge, drawing inspiration from the vibrant yellow wattle blooming in Perth Hills during spring and Imelda’s personal fondness for mustards and pinks. My goal was not just to create a visually striking space, but to craft a home that balanced beauty with functionality—a home that truly reflected her personality and enhanced her daily life.

I meticulously transformed the kitchen to address storage inefficiencies, implementing innovative designs and selecting bright, high-quality materials that would bring her vision to life. Every detail was carefully planned, ensuring the space felt both cheerful and practical, elevating its usability for both Imelda and David.

The wet area spaces required a complete overhaul. With careful spatial planning, I reworked the floor plan to maximize functionality. Removing internal walls and floors was essential to provide structural enhancements, waterproofing, and the installation of durable tiles. This redesign allowed me to incorporate smarter storage solutions in the laundry, create a luxurious walk-in shower in the bathroom, and reconfigure the powder room with a separate entrance for added convenience.
